My Resume is Proudly Powered by Google Document
by Hui Wang
I have been harvesting professional experiences rapidly since this two years with the help of internships and part-time jobs. In the same pace, I need to keep my resume up-to-date. It should have been an enjoyable moment when adding new experiences and skills. However, I was really very tired of managing the fast-changing resume version.
Another annoying thing was that sometimes, I had to edit my resume under Linux with Open Office and sometimes under windows with the one from Microsoft; It didn’t stop bothering because sometimes I had to send my resume with our school’s computers as my personal one is not that portable.
Unluckily and unavoidably, my resume is scattered all around in my email accounts, in my USB key, in my different operating systems. That’s exactly what we call a chaos. Thanks to cloud computing,
I get rid of this pain by getting my resume powered by google document. I’m quite proud of it because from right now I no longer need to send myself an email with no subject but a resume as an attachment, I no longer need to care about whether certain font style is supported by all the world.
Finally, I’m able to edit, share and download my resume as long as I get an internet connection. It rocks, doesn’t it ? Have a look at my resume template and see if you could be convinced to have a try.
By the way, if you are an employer, I’m currently looking for an internship in information system.
